The things that change how the room looks.
This is the difference between a photograph of a hall with people in it and the photograph you have been imagining. Six of them, any of which can go with a DJ booking or be hired on their own. Rob delivers, places, runs and removes every one of them on the same load-in, which is the whole difference between this and a box arriving with a return label on it.
Uplighting
At six it is a hall with the overheads on and the carpet showing. By eight, with color washing up the walls and the overheads down, it is the room you pictured when you booked it. Same room. Nothing moved.

What it involvesPhoto booth rental
Half your guests will go home with a photograph of themselves at your wedding, taken at eleven o’clock, wearing something ridiculous, arm around somebody they had not met at six. That is what a booth is actually for.

Two seconds, and it is the photograph that goes everywhere. A curtain of silver going up behind your first dance while the room makes a noise you will still be able to hear a year later.

There is a moment, usually just after the first dance, when the lights drop and the floor lights come up, and forty people who were perfectly happy sitting down decide they are not sitting down any more. Dance floor lighting is how that moment gets a starting gun.

The sun goes down, the bulbs come up, and a field with a tent in it becomes somewhere nobody wants to leave. That is the whole trick, and it is warm light overhead where there was none.

Your names, in light, on the floor you are dancing on. Nobody announces it and nobody needs to: people notice it, and then it sits quietly in the background of a hundred photographs for the rest of the night.

Start with uplighting.
It is the cheapest line on this page and it changes the most. A plain hall with the overheads down and warm light up the walls photographs like a venue. Every picture taken after sunset is taken in that light.
If you want the moment
Cold sparks, once.
Indoor-safe, no flame and no smoke, for the first dance or the grand entrance. Used once it is the shot everybody posts. Used all night it is wallpaper. Check your venue allows them before you plan around it, and Rob will do that with you.
