Privacy policy

This site is run by Midas Entertainment, Lenoir City, Tennessee. It is a small business website. The short version is that the information collected here is what you type into the inquiry form, which goes to Rob Kermidas through HoneyBook, the system he runs his bookings in, plus the technical details every web server records and an anonymous count of visits.

What the inquiry form collects

The form is Rob’s HoneyBook lead form, shown inside this site. It asks for your name, email address and phone number, the date, type and venue of your event, and a few questions about it, such as the number of guests, a budget estimate and the services you are interested in, plus anything else you want to add. Rob sets the questions in HoneyBook, and the form on the page is always the current version.

What happens to it

It goes into HoneyBook, the system Rob Kermidas uses for inquiries, contracts and payments, and he reads and answers it himself. It is used to reply to you, to quote your event, and to run your event if you book. It is not sold, rented, traded or shared with advertisers, and it is not added to a marketing list unless you ask to be on one.

If you book, some details necessarily reach the people who need them: your venue may be sent a certificate of insurance, and your photographer or coordinator may be sent the run of show with your names and timings on it. That is the job.

How long it is kept

Inquiries are kept until you ask for them to be deleted, or until they are cleared in a periodic tidy-up. Booking records are kept for as long as contracts and tax records have to be.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising trackers. There is no Facebook pixel and no advertising network on any page.

Standard web server logs exist, as they do for every website: an IP address, the page requested, and the time. They are used to keep the site working, and they are not linked to you as a person.

Visitor counts

Visits are counted with Plausible Analytics, which is built to count visits without identifying anyone. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. For each visit it records the page, the site that sent you, your browser, operating system and type of device, your country, region and city, and how far down the page you read and for how long.

Your network address and browser details are used to tell a new visitor from a returning one on the same day, and they are never stored: Plausible combines them with a value it deletes every 24 hours. The reports show totals, such as how many people read a page, and nothing that identifies you. Plausible explains the rest in its data policy.

The HoneyBook form

The form loads from HoneyBook inside a frame on the page, and only once you scroll near it. Apart from the visitor counter above, it is the only piece of third-party code on this site, and it brings HoneyBook’s own scripts with it. When this page was last checked, on September 27, 2026, those included Google reCAPTCHA, which keeps automated scripts out of the form; Stripe, HoneyBook’s payment provider; analytics and error monitoring from Mixpanel, Datadog and Cloudflare; fraud prevention from Forter; a lookup of your approximate location from your network address; fonts from Google; and Jam, a bug-reporting tool that can record a session.

Those may set their own cookies. That is HoneyBook and those companies collecting it, under HoneyBook’s privacy policy, rather than Midas Entertainment.

If you would rather none of that loaded, skip the form: call or text (607) 743-1217, or email events@midaswelldance.com. Neither route involves HoneyBook’s form. And if you have JavaScript turned off, the form cannot load at all, so the page gives you the same phone number and email address instead.

Where it is held

The site is hosted on Google Firebase, in the United States. Inquiries are held by HoneyBook. Visitor counts are held by Plausible, in the European Union. Email is sent through a standard email provider. All of them are subject to their own security and privacy terms.

Children

This site is not directed at children and the inquiry form is not intended for anyone under 18 to complete.

Your choices

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email events@midaswelldance.com or call (607) 743-1217. Deletion requests are honored unless a signed contract or a tax record requires the file to be kept, in which case Rob will tell you which and for how long.

Pages here link to other businesses, to venues, and to public sources such as county clerk offices. Those sites have their own policies and this one does not cover them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions, so if a specific wording matters to you, keep a copy.
