Lighting and extras

Photo booth rental in Knoxville

Half your guests will go home with a photograph of themselves at your wedding, taken at eleven o’clock, wearing something ridiculous, arm around somebody they had not met at six. That is what a booth is actually for.

Rob’s booth is a digital open-air setup rather than a curtained box: guests snap, add a filter, and have the shot on their phone by text, email or QR code before they walk away. No printer, no line.

Quoted on the hours you want it open and whether you add a backdrop, not on the room. It is the one enhancement here whose price barely moves with the venue. A full wedding day with Rob starts at $2,500; what that includes, and what the extras do to the night.

What it actually is

The part the other pages skip.

Open-air, not a box

A sleek, space-saving setup that sits in the room rather than in a corner behind a curtain. It fits a ballroom or a barn, and it does not need a dedicated side room guests have to go and find.

Instant sharing, no line

Every shot goes straight to the guest by QR code, text or email. There is no printer to jam at nine o’clock and no line while it reloads, which is the failure that stalls most booths mid-evening.

Overlays that match the wedding

Custom-branded overlays on every image, so the frame carries your names, your date or your company logo rather than a stock border.

A gallery afterwards, and an attendant if you want one

The full set of images is delivered after the event. An on-site attendant is available as an option for support and for getting the shy guests in; ask Rob whether your room needs one.

Before you book

What your venue needs to be able to do.

Ask these before the deposit, not on the week of. Every one of them has stopped somebody’s plan at some point.

  • A flat area for the setup, ideally somewhere guests pass rather than a room they have to seek out.
  • One standard power outlet within reach.
  • Enough ambient light to walk to it safely; the booth brings its own light for the photographs.

Why book it with your DJ

Because the two are the same night. Rob knows when dinner ends and the floor opens, so the booth is busy when the room is ready for it rather than running against the first dance. One vendor, one load-in, one number to call.

Questions

Before you ask Rob.

What is uplighting, and does it actually change the room?

Uplighting is a set of fixtures placed around the walls that wash the room in one color you choose. It is the single biggest visual difference for the money, because it changes every photograph taken after dark. Rob delivers, places and runs them, which is the part the ship-it-yourself rental companies cannot do.

Are cold spark fountains safe indoors?

They are designed to be. A cold spark fountain uses a heated metal powder rather than pyrotechnics, so there is no flame and no smoke, and the sparks are cool enough to touch. Venues still set their own rules, so Rob checks with yours before the day rather than on it.

Add it to your date

Tell Rob the date and what you are thinking about. He will come back with availability and a price.
