Some of the best rooms in this state are an hour’s drive from anywhere, and the usual answer is a travel line on the invoice or a vendor who would rather you picked somewhere closer. Rob is in Lenoir City, which puts two hours of East Tennessee inside the price.
Based in Lenoir City, twenty minutes west of Knoxville, and working across Knoxville and East Tennessee. Travel within two hours of Lenoir City is included in every package. Further than that, ask.
Two hours from Lenoir City reaches Knoxville, Maryville, Farragut, the Sevier County wedding towns, Chattanooga and the Tri-Cities. Inside that circle the drive is Rob’s problem, not your invoice.

A barn with a metal roof and a downtown room with eighteen-foot brick walls are two completely different nights, and the difference shows up in the first ten minutes. Pick your town and see what Rob knows about the rooms in it.
Knoxville
The home market, and the one with the widest spread of rooms: downtown brick and eighteen-foot ceilings, hotel ballrooms, the Sunsphere, a converted foundry that seats six hundred.

Half the people you love are driving in from another state, most of them are staying up a mountain, and your reception is very likely in a room that was never built to be one. Gatlinburg is a destination wedding town, and every one of those things changes what a DJ has to get right.

Maryville is twenty-five minutes from Rob’s door, which is the one town on this list where he can walk your room before the day without it being a trip. It is worth using: the difference between a DJ who has seen your venue and one who has read about it shows up at load-in.

That is the Farragut wedding most couples are picturing, and it is also the hardest one on this list to plan, because Farragut sits between Lenoir City and Knoxville as a place people live rather than a place people hold weddings.

Rob is in Lenoir City, which is a lucky place to be: two hours of driving from there covers most of the good wedding country in this half of the state, and all of it is inside the price. You are not paying mileage and he is not turning down your venue because it is forty minutes further out.
